Covered major news events like the 2011 Earthquake, 2012 Republican and Democratic Conventions, the 2013 Inauguration, the Navy Yard Shooting, and the Government Shutdown of 2013.

As a local photographer I covered local protests concerning immigration, Occupy DC, DC & VA elections, the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, 9/11 anniversaries as well as spot news, and breaking news.

As a Style section photographer I covered live music shows, and social events.

I also served as the In-house portrait photographer for the Newsroom, and for the company on various occasions.

Responsible for attaching staff & wire photos articles for publishing using Methode and other photo software like Photo Mechanic, Cyber Duck, and Dropbox. Responsible for sending all photographer’s camera repair gear to the Nikon facility. Assist Photo Department with Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter Feed.

Served as a translator-interpreter for the newsroom as well as for the Video department for interviews with a Colombian Massacre surviver, and the presidents of Honduras, and Nicaragua.

The Washington Post was a Pulitzer Prize finalist for their Navy Yard shooting coverage, breaking news coverage I was a part of.
